I have been warned that you need to actually have a valid license to carry in your home “constitutional carry” state if you intend to carry when you go into another “constitutional carry” state.

Gun laws can be confusing.

It depends on the state.

As I recall, both Idaho and North Dakota had "resident" limits on Constitutional Carry in their states.

Idaho eliminated the residency requirement a couple of years ago. I think North Dakota did so as well.

I checked. North Dakota removed their residency requirement as well.
