Trump is too often wrongfully impressed, sometimes by persons, somtimes by events.

The speed of the development of the mRNA vaccines was NOT a good thing, and as 98% of the population had an asymptomotic not very infectious reaction, if they caught Covid, the faster that 98% got their asymptomtic infection, the faster natural immunity would have grown in the population without any vaccine.

All the pandemic “closures” in society FORESTALEED the growth of natural immunity.

In place of rapid development and use of the experimental mRNA vaccines, we needed rapid determination and placement into operation of multiple ways of protecting the demographic groups most vulnerable to severe bad reactions to Covid. We knew pretty early which demographic groups they were - persons who were very old, or obese and diabetic, of living with severe symptomatic heart and/or breathing problems.

Instead of isolating everyone, the government and the healtcare industry needed rapid development of the means for infected persons who were ill to go somewhere besides home, until their viral period passed, when their home had anyone who was in any one of the most vulnerable groups of people.

We needed to protect the most vulnerable, not isolate and mRNA vaccinate the 98+% who were not really endangered by Covid.

Lastly, Trump should NOT be bragging about vaccines that have the worst track record in terms of the numbers of persons who have had severe illness reactions from the vaccinces. The rush to get the vaccines out left out a ton of bad news about them that should have been admitted to before thay went into use, so that chosing to get the vaccines was a transparent process and not a leap into the unknown.

You should have faith in Trump. He was the one that gave us $2 a gallon gasoline, a 50-year low in unemployment without the 40-year high inflation, gave us a record low number of border crossings, built 700 miles of a border wall and did a better job nominating judges than any Republican in the past 50 years.

If that isn't good enough, find another hobby.

Trump totally called their bluff, made the vaccine they said would end it all sooner than they ever thought it could be done, before the election, and they stalled it.

Whatever. You fail to accept the fact that no matter who was President, they would have likely done the same thing, given the amount of info that was provided by manufacturers at the time. I’m not going to fault Trump for that. He did far too many other good things for me to criticize him for the one thing that was a voluntary option for people to access. The people who chose to take the shots without even questioning them are the ones who are at fault. All they had to do was say no. If they took the shots based on what Trump was saying, then shame on them. It’s still not his fault.

Very bad move on Trump’s part.

I don’t have to have faith in Trump in order to vote for him. When we get Trump elected and he starts the “biggest mass deportations” we have ever seen, then I will stand corrected and have faith in him. Until then it’s just all hot air.

Yes Trump is wrong here, nobody is perfect. Trump is still the best of the lot running.

Its been no secret that Trump has never backed down on this. He only shut-up about it when he got booed at one of his own rally’s. Sadly Trump is one of those kind of people who can never believe he was wrong about anything. While that can be a very bad and creepy thing at times, It is also the reason why Trump can hold the line on what he believes in. Since Trump is pro American and generally pro common sense then this personality trait is far more often beneficial than not.

Folks,

Like almost everything in life, the thing itself is not evil or good, it is how it is used.

The vaccine was important for some to live and others not.

THE EVIL PART IS ONE SIZE FITS ALL, THE LIBERAL/SOCIALIST/COMMUNISM MANTRA.

Trump did it right.

The disaster was the governors shutting everything down and Fauci lying his butt off...

They made up all the solutions...distancing...masks...shot after shot after shot....

Only to find out that the supposed "vaccine" did not prevent you from getting Covid...and passing it on.

I think sticking to the top 4 or 5 things in poll after poll people said they were most concerned with might be a better strategy

MRNA is 20 years old...making a vaccine to fight a particular monster was what was new.

I REJECTED the creepy synthetic mRNA injections, at some personal risk.

It did give me an opportunity to give witness to a couple of HR drones.

Yes, no doubt Trump is much much better than Biden. But the more he takes pride in the deadly Covid vaccine the more votes he will lose to RFK and stay-at-home. So why do it?

ROFL!!! at your first paragraph ...

NO, Trump didn’t mandate the creepy synthetic mRNA injections. And General Leslie Groves didn’t drop Fat Man and Little Boy on Japan. Both bear responsibility (for good or ill) for the use of what they made possible.

Damn Devere, why can’t you go to Oklahoma and Alabama? I noticed that you have been to every other state. Seriously, think about visiting at least Oklahoma. It is lovely, as is Alabama.

I love him to death, but DJT needs to say nothing more about the “vaccine” other than that NO ONE will be forced to take any vaccine ever again.

No, I accept that it was a damned if you did and damned if you didn’t political situation. What I fault Trump on is his continuing to embrace it as a shining moment of his administration. It wasn’t! He was scammed and conned, his germophobic fears manipulated. He should internalize that blunder and be ready when something like that is tried again.
