No one does seem willing, or able, to “drain the swamp”. I think Trump spent his Presidency mostly handcuffed. The Swamp was doing Ukraine, and was arrayed against him in office, though I believe they put him there in preference over Hillary. He could not fire people, even if he wanted to, though I am not really sure he wanted to.
I am not holding my breath that Trump is offering more in this second term than the first, though at this point, I’ll take what I can get. The Biden Cabal, aka Swamp, is killing us.
