Did you ever read the book, “One Second After”, by William Forstchen ??
He wrote another smaller book, almost a short story called “Day of Wrath”, it’s about Islamic Terrorists infiltrating the USA in order to conduct a mass casualty event.
This time the terrorists have decided to spread out all over the country in smaller cities with elementary schools along major highways.
On the selected day the terrorists attacked the schools, a 2nd group of terrorists would be outside of the school in vehicles, looking to slow down or block a police response.
The idea was to not only kill women and children but get images of the killing broadcast live all over the world as the news helicopters swooped in to cover the event.
The book is obviously fiction but one of the many possibilities of an upcoming disaster all caused by the Democrats and the Biden Administration.

As I read that, years ago, I thought “this isn’t a novel, it’s an operations manual!” Later, that same year, I was subcontract by the Ag Dept as a Producer to game out another few terror scenarios for a training video, on a project that carried a low level classification. We’re much more vulnerable than most of us know.
Sounds viable for sure. If anything the added criminal element and the possibility that a percentage will go lone wolf will cause enough chaos and havoc to warrant Martial Law in their eyes even though they are the root cause. One silver lining might be that the timing for the martial law need and decision might come on Trumps watch if he is elected...

IMO, William Forstchen is prescient.
I read the One Second after series and found it to be disturbingly feasible.
I know there’s a lot of controversy about the effect and EMP would have on the US, but that does not by any means invalidate the rest of the book. The collapse of society and the mass casualties that result from medicine, health care like dialysis, and food collapse, is alarmingly realistic.
If someone ahs never gardened before, not time like the present to start and learn. Same for food preservation, like canning and dehydrating.
Considering all the many thousands of ME terrorists who’ve infiltrated since 9-11, I’ve said for years, that terrorist cell groups of 5-10 jihadis will attack hundreds — if not thousands — of “soft targets” — hospitals, nursing homes, shopping malls, schools, offices, etc etc etc — in a simultaneous, coordinated 2-3-4 hour operation, in one morning, on one day.
Sure hope I’m wrong.
