Blackwater Founder Erik Prince on Ukraine, ” We Need to Bring That War to a Close – An Ugly Peace is Better than Whatever Their idea of an Ideal War Is”
Gateway Pundit ^ | 3-2-24 | Jim Hoft

Erik Prince, the founder of Blackwater, joined Patrick Bet David recently. Prince described what he sees as the best solution for Ukraine – an ugly peace.

Prince is a former US Navy SEAL officer and well-respected military strategist.

Erik Prince: “We need to bring that war to a close because all Ukraine is doing right now is destroying itself demographically. They’re chewing up the next generation of manpower that they really can’t really replace right now. They don’t have enough manpower. The Western defense base is pathetic. And you’re not going to out-conventional war the Russian Bear. And I would say an ugly peace is better than whatever their idea of an ideal war is.

Patrick Bet David: Well, what is an ugly peace though?

Erik Prince: Meaning, freeze the lines, straighten the lines… Let them keep Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, whatever. It’s not the American taxpayer’s obligation to spend another hundred billion dollars in Ukraine when there’s been significant corruption and really nothing to show for it.”

Via Zlatti71.

Elon Musk agrees with Erik Prince.

Unfortunately, that is true

The Ukies ain't getting peace until their army occupies many bloody dumpsters.

The Peace Ship sailed into the Black Sea and was sunk months ago.

No, there will be Death to Zeon.

Blackrock no connection to Blackwater, if that even still exists. Interesting interivew with Prince found on TS. Lemme see if I can find. I’ll see if I find time to listen today before electricity goes out. (snowing a lot, outages sometimes happen here).

The loss of human life is a tragedy for Ukraine imo. A generation of men lost and for what? They are going to have to make peace with Russia and the terms know will be worst than whatever was offered back at the start of this.

I hope both Ukrainians AND Russians stop killing and be killed. I’m pro peace. Nobody pays me, sadly.

I am not sure what proof you need. This is all my recollection but, I know that Putin met the newly “elected” Biden at some gathering in Europe. They weren’t the only ones there. This is before Russia does anything in Ukraine. I know that Biden ordered State Department people out of Ukraine before Russia invaded and announced a date on which he expected that to occur. Russian troops entered days later than Biden said.

How could Putin meet with Biden and fail to notice the state Biden was in? I don’t see it as possible. How could Putin not know what Biden’s handlers were doing in Ukraine? I also don’t see that as possible. I cannot believe that Putin was not in a position to dictate the terms of what we now see unfolding. This will include some eventual “peace”, the terms of which, I suspect, are already agreed upon.

If you disagree, or see something otherwise, please feel free to comment to me. I appreciate peoples’ attempts to see FR as a debating society, but I also see it as an opinion and ideas forum. This article talks about the war in a way that I do not see it.

Hitler said in order to keep what he achieved for Germany, he knew he’d have to fight perpetual wars. The U.S. has adopted Hitler’s war policy.

"I recall that a few months before war erupted he pitched a plan in Washington to basically create and send a lend-lease Air Force to Ukraine."

That wouldn't be beneficial to the politicians on both sides of the aisle making money through their investments in the military industrial complex. It would take too long for them to get their kickbacks.

I’m about halfway through. Fascinating. Prince is brilliant and ethical man. I’m reasonably certain he’ll be in a position in Trump’s new administration.

There’s still at least 30 million Ukrainians left to die for Nudelman and the imbred NeoCons.

“Blackrock and Blackwater, not the same thing.”

Both were formed in the 80s by Blackstone Financial Management, but I don’t think there is a connection anymore.

Hate to say it but Ukraine won’t be getting cities like Mariupol back. Putin gets to keep his land bridge to Crimea and hope that the ceasefire holds. So far it’s working in Korea, that war ended in 1953.

Erik Prince should be Secretary of State. Everybody is going to respect him because he used to run Blackwater. So he’ll be a great advocate for peace.

No, Prince founded Blackwater in 1996.

Erik Prince founded Blackwater in the 1980’s. It changed names once in 2009 and was sold off to private investors in 2011. It is academi now. I haven’t been able to find any relationship with Blackstone.
