There's buzz lately surrounding Beyonce's foray into country music. It brought to mind this hidden gem of a song in her catalogue, which I accidentally discovered a few years ago when a country band doing a cover of it showed up on my feed. The lyrics (the above is only an excerpt) alongside the musical arrangement plus Beyonce's vocals combine to make it one of my favorite all time songs - of any genre, any artist. Definitely not what she's normally known for. Lyrics video at link, well worth a listen! Song is called "Daddy Lessons."

I am not a fan of Beyonce's satanic goings-on. But even sinful people (like me) can get something right at times.

Even a whore can repent and get right with Jesus. See Luke 7:38-50

Jesus teaches us not to be too quick in condemning others struggling with sin different to our own. We all need to turn back from our own habitual sin in order to truly follow Jesus.
