The culture war has come to the streets of Anaheim, California, where two conservative members of the Orange Unified School District Board of Trustees are fighting an attempt to recall them.
Rick Ledesma and Madison Miner are outspoken defenders of parental rights and of keeping parents informed about their children’s health and safety. They support the adoption of rigorous scholarly and academic curricula. They seek to prevent overtly racist and divisive ideology from seeping into the classroom and also to keep sexually explicit materials out of school libraries. And they support charter schools.
In doing so, they have ruffled feathers and aroused enemies who are attempting to get them recalled in the March 5, 2024 election.
The campaign to recall Ledesma and Miner has powerful supporters which include California Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond and Democratic state Senator Josh Newman. Unions backing the recall include the California Teachers Association, the California School Employees Association, the Orange Unified Education Association and the AFL-CIO of Orange County,
However, Ledesma and Miner have widespread support at the grassroots level, and many parents, teachers and concerned citizens have been rallying to fight the recall. On February 25, 2024, demonstrators opposed to the recall gathered at Santa Ana Canyon Road and Imperial Highway in Anaheim to make their voices heard.
Democrats will never play fair. They cannot stand not winning in a fair election so then resort to this kind of behavior to force their agenda on everyone else, the will of the people be damned.
For all their screams and cries about *democracy*, they really don’t want it or believe it. They only consider it a fair election and democracy when it benefits them.

Will the recall be on paper ballots, or machines? If it is machines, they have already lost.
