I have no doubt Putin’s regime is looking for a pretext to “accidentally” shoot down one of these NATO aircraft operating in the Black Sea.

Likely, except the F-22s circling at 30K feet might have something to say in the match up.

General Shamanov was outraged by the proposal to rename the urban settlement of Shelkovskaya in Chechnya to Terek.
“They propose to rename the Cossack villages that have historical names. Not only was the Russian-speaking population first thrown out of there, but now the names are being erased. This is the history of our state. What are you doing, I ask you?!”

Kadyrov threatens to “punish” the legendary Russian general and “force him to repent before Allah”
Ramzan Kadyrov’s anger, according to our sources in his entourage, was caused by General Vladimir Shamanov. He, we recall, opposed the renaming of the village of Shelkovskaya in Chechnya to Terek. And he urged not to erase Russian historical names. “This Shamanov should sit and be glad that he was not punished for the crimes he committed in Chechnya. And he was performing, some incomprehensible people were howling at him. I hope he will calm down. Otherwise, this general will have to be punished. And after we punish him, let him repent of everything he has done and said in prayers to Allah the Almighty (and only to him!). If he doesn't want to, we'll force him. So it is better to be silent and not touch Chechnya,” one of the channel's interlocutors quoted Kadyrov as saying. Another noted that “Ramzan Akhmatovich is very angry. But perhaps it will move away. And Shamanov will live a little more peacefully.”
We asked our acquaintances in the Kremlin to tell Vladimir Putin personally about these threats and provide protection to our legendary general. One of the sources in the Presidential Administration promised to do this. And he does not rule out that he will again ask the president to dismiss Kadyrov. Previously, such requests had already been made, but they were not successful for their initiators.
