This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

The drones, called Harpia-3, are being tested. It is reported that they can fly 2 thousand kilometers with a load of 50 kg.

“TOS-1A thermobaric rocket artillery… of which Russians only have approximately 30 units left.”
The countdown to a demilitarized Russia continues.
Those things, and the heavy glide bombs, are the Russian’s big hammers for breaking defensive positions. It will be good for the world when they are taken away from them.
Looking forward to the day that the Russians re-assemble their last crews for the TOS-1A into Infantry, and send them to charge into machine guns.

It is good for China, for Russia to be weak and dependent on them, but they likely do not want Russia defeated outright. They may envision Russia as their new North Korean-like attack dog to threaten and weaken the West.
Next year, when Russian resource constraints come to a head, China will likely have to decide whether to drop the Panda mask and provide significant military aid, or let the Russian Military fail. Perhaps they will find ways to use surrogates, like North Korea, to drag it out longer.
Bravo!
Kyiv Independent reports on a rhetorical touché, by the new guy from the UK:
“U.K. Foreign Secretary David Lammy accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of running a “mafia state” and compared him to a slave owner during his speech at a meeting of the U.N. Security Council on Sept. 24.
Lammy, who took over as British Foreign Secretary in July 2024, has consistently reiterated his country’s support for Ukraine and condemned Russia’s attacks against Ukrainian civilians and violations of international law.
Lammy criticized Putin’s actions regarding the invasion of Ukraine, recalling the days of slavery, and accused the Russian government of flouting international law, while claiming to be defending the so-called Global South.
“Your invasion is in your own interests,” he said, addressing Putin. “Yours alone. To expand your mafia state into a mafia empire. An empire built on corruption.”…
…”But I say to the Russian representative (in the U.N. Security Council), on his phone as I speak, that I stand here also as a Black man whose ancestors were taken in chains from Africa, at the barrel of a gun to be enslaved, whose ancestors rose up and fought in a great rebellion of the enslaved,” Lammy added.
U.K. Foreign Secretary said that he recognizes “imperialism” in the actions of the Russian authorities, adding that “he will call it out for what it is.””
Kyiv Independent adds the “Who”:
“Russia has secretly established a development and production program in China for attack drones to be used in the war in Ukraine, Reuters reported on Sept. 25 citing European intelligence sources and documents reviewed by the outlet.
According to the report, Russia has flight-tested a new drone called the Garpiya-3 (G3) in China with the help of local specialists.
Details of the project were revealed in a report by the company behind the project, IEMZ Kupol, a subsidiary of the Kremlin-owned weapons company Almaz-Antey.”
Super!
I have not heard UK Foreign Minister Lammy speak, but reading his words, and looking at his picture, he seems like an impressive orator.
China attempts stimulus today. Oil markets did not seem to buy it, with prices dropping a bit.
OilPrice.com reports:
“China has unleashed a swath of stimulus measures including cuts to its benchmark interest rate as Beijing battles a slowdown in the world’s second-largest economy.
China’s central bank unveiled a broad stimulus package on Wednesday (25 Sep)—the boldest since the pandemic—including cuts to its benchmark interest rate aimed at jumpstarting the faltering economy. However, analysts have warned that more fiscal help is needed to boost economic activity in the world’s second-largest economy. Economists also remain skeptical whether China will hit the government’s full-year growth target of 5%.
“Concerns lingered that more fiscal support would be needed to boost confidence in the Chinese economy. This uncertainty raised doubts about sustained demand growth, weighing on crude prices,” George Khoury, global head of education and research at CFI Financial Group, told Reuters.”
I just turned into Scripps TV news, and watched another UK representative (white this time, I missed his name) describing the world problems needing special attention. This included attacks on aid workers, 200 dead; Israel/Hamas fight, Oct. 7 worst Jewish slaughter since holocost; 10,000,000 displaced in Sudan war; Ukraine, 6 million displaced, 40,000 or more citizens killed, 20,000 children kidnapped, over 600,000 Russians killed by theare leder treating them like meat. So the 600,000 figure appears to be well acceptedd internationally. (Sorry for uncorrected misspellings as my Chfromebook refuses to backspace or erase.)
over 600,000 Russians killed
—
The 600,000 figure you site is total casualties: wounded and dead. Number of dead is likely somewhat greater than 1/3 of the total, putting the total dead north of 200,000.
Lately the kill ratio has been around 7 dead Russians for 1 dead Ukrainian, due to the meat wave tactics being employed by the Russians, plus the near total lack of medical supplies - leaving many wounded Russians to bleed out, take a bullet, or use a grenade
ABC reports in recent hours:
“Israel is preparing a ground invasion into Lebanon, according to Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, the chief of the General Staff for the Israel Defense Forces.
“We will continue, we are not stopping; we keep striking and hitting them everywhere. The goal is very clear — to safely return the residents of the north,” Halevi said Wednesday, while visiting Israeli troops at the northern border.
“To achieve that, we are preparing the process of a maneuver, which means your military boots, your maneuvering boots, will enter enemy territory, enter villages that Hezbollah has prepared as large military outposts, with underground infrastructure, staging points, and launchpads into our territory and carry out attacks on Israeli civilians,” Halevi said.”

“Russian lawmakers approved a bill aimed at widening the net for recruiting more people to the army in response to a deepening shortage of soldiers for President Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine.

Previously, authorities had been allowed to recruit only those already convicted of crimes.”

Despite Bank of Russia’s tight policy, inflation has persisted”
“The Bank of Russia sees early indications that policymakers’ nightmare scenario of high prices coupled with slow economic growth — elements of what is known as stagflation — risks becoming a reality for the country.
“There are signs of cooling domestic demand. However, there is no reduction in inflationary pressure,” a summary from the central bank’s Sept. 13 rate-setting meeting published Wednesday read. Price growth remains high as a result of the economy overheating in the first half of 2024, the bank said.”
