You’d be surprised how quickly the social zeitgeist can change.
When Reagan was elected in 1980, most of the hippies shaved their beards, cut their hair, put on suits, ties, and wing-tipped shoes, and marched off to their office at the bank. It was an amazing transformation.
It didn’t last.
The GeriatriCons on FR don’t want to hear this, but Reagan changed nothing, and things were worse than ever at the end of the 1980’s.
They changed their appearance but didn’t change their beliefs. They were communists in suits who joined boards and subverted organizations from within.
It was a different America back then. Those hippies were generational Americans, the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren of Americans. They'd had American values instilled in their DNA.
Not so today. We've been flooded with immigrants and first generation Americans from countries with no shared cultural values. And they all have their hands out.
Generation Z is the least white American generation ever. They are massive in numbers and they are going to vote in every woke/Marxist platform position available.
