A recent poll conducted by McLaughlin & Associates shows that 86% of voters want only U.S. citizens to be allowed to vote in elections.
The poll was conducted in late January and released by the group Tea Party Patriots Action.
The poll also showed that 87% of voters believe that proof of U.S. citizenship should be required to vote in U.S. elections.
“It’s simple. Americans want to protect American democracy and American elections from the foreign interference of allowing non-citizens to vote. American voters want to protect their vote from being canceled out by the vote of non-citizens," McLaughlin & Associates CEO John McLaughlin said in a statement.

I try not to read to closely , it enter fears with my pre conceived notions. slowing down my snarking.
