And NFA 1934 while we’re at it.
review
There are people who live in post office boxes, we know that from the 2020 elections. We just don’t know how they’re able to fit inside.
***It would be best to eliminate the GCA 1968***
True. This law was supposed to solve all gun crime problems. It was used as a “step up” to more gun control.
Before 1968, Guns were more available then as you could get a gun at a gas station, pawn shop, hardware store, clothing store, record shop, book store, liquor store, feed store, grocery store. They were everywhere! Cash and carry. No background check, no waiting period, no paperwork. No ID, Just look old enough.
Or you could drop a check in the mail and one would be shipped to your door.
then came the political assassinations of the 1960s and the democrat calls for gun control, and the 1968 gun control Act.
“Today we begin to disarm the criminal and the careless and the insane. All of our people who are deeply concerned in this country about law and order should hail this day.”-— Lyndon Johnson signing the 1968 gun control act into law.
And Thomas J. Dodd, who wrote the 1968 gun control act using the 1938 Nazi weapons law as a pattern...
“No one can predict how many lives will be spared because of this bill, but, if the bloody record of our yesterdays is any measure, millions of future Americans will live to enjoy the promise of many peaceful tomorrows.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play a part in this great moment in our time.”— Thomas J. Dodd on passage of the 1968 Gun control act.
And crime went up-Up-UP!
“....shall not be infringed” should be enough for zero gun laws other than “shall not murder or use in a crime”.
But these big government tyrants want to bypass the Constitution with over 5000 state, local and Federal laws.
shall NOT be infringed!!
this sounds like a good step but it will be far far better for America when we can return to the Bill of Rights and Constitutional governance (eliminating illegal agencies like AeeTeeEff will be at the top of the agenda).
Not only are some agencies unconstitutional ab initio and at their core, but many of them trample on our individual liberties (and indeed actually have that as their primary purpose).
We live in a very, very dangerous time ...
Hoping against all hope, praying that we can somehow find a way to restore America before it is lost, destroyed by these very anti-American elements embedded right in our midst.
Very weird.
Homeless peeps can’t buy guns?
Well, exception might be a face-to-face non-dealer transaction.
What about peeps that travel via motor home?
Congress and the three letter agencies sure have ruined everything good about the USA.
