It’s a fungal infection. If I recall, it affects the lungs and throat. Pretty much, any place that is warm, wet, and has access to “sugars.”
Now, if you are large diabetic who smokes poorly cultivated pot...you are injecting yourself will all sorts of stuff that will grow where you don’t want it.
Bad stuff feeds off of sugar.
