This is the first sentence in the Daily Mail.

“Sickening footage captured the moment 10 middle schoolers viciously beat a fellow student on a New York City bus in broad daylight, before they claimed he deserved it because he was a ‘weirdo.’”

I appreciate this statement of fact. It is a fact.

I see your point, but the problem is, who is saying they said that? How many times have we heard what someone said in the past, only to find out that wasn't what was actually said.

Don't get me wrong, if they're guilty then punish them to the full degree (which I doubt will happen in NYC, but that's another topic), but find them guilty first.

In the meantime the media has to cover themselves by saying "allegedly" just in case one or more of them turns out to be innocent. I have no love for the mainstream media, but I see their point on this.
