She discovered the lump herself through the wall that separates the vagina from the rectum. Hopefully, it has not yet metastasized. She and her husband are trying to get scheduled into MD Anderson Cancer Center. As it is everywhere today, scheduling anything medical is a slow nightmare. When you have three young kids, two dogs, and no close relatives, the logistics are not easy to work out. Fortunately, the Norfolk Va. military community is stepping up to the challenge.
