Wow!

Looked like it (the Russian Corvette Ivanovets) got hit several times.

When will those kids learn to stay out of bad neighborhoods at night?

Good Morning All...2/1/2024.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense released absolutely spectacular footages of an USV attack against Russian corvette “Ivanovets” (Project 12411) near the Russian-occupied peninsula of Crimea.

The Russian corvette got hit by at least two possibly three Ukrainian USVs. You clearly see a gaping hole midship from the previous USV when another USV rams the Ivanovets.

The spectacular explosion in the end marks also the end of the ship.

Congratulations to this absolute professional operation.

Waiting for Putin to claim that there were UKR POWs on board the Russian Corvette Ivanovets.

My guess is the Russian Corvette Ivanovets was deployed to Ozero Donuzlav (Lake Donuzlav) in western Crimea as a stop-gap SAM site.

Lake Donuzlav on Google Maps

The RU surface to air assets are stretched to the breaking point.

Comments welcome.
