Russia probably has more dead than Ukraine, but Russia has more depth - reserve - and ability to coerce, than Ukraine.
Ukraine has to be much more careful (in contrast to Moscow) about Ukraine’s losses, IMHO.
I suspect, that Ukraine’s biggest problem is actually Germany - a country that wants to re-establish trade with Moscow. Germany is more sensitive to that need (wish) than Hungary - a country that would like to participate with greater aid to Ukraine . . . but objects to the leftwing cultural revolution to which, Ukraine has taken a knee.
Hungary, favoring freedom; while Ukraine is backed into a corner where Ukraine will “take ‘freedom’ at any price.”
Always, every country in the world, fears becoming a target of Moscow or Red Chinese military aggression. In Europe, the fear waxes and wanes, depending upon the “your thoughts” chatter between various personalities who jockey for place, policies, and power.
Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are only as strong as Germany will come to their aid.
But again, Germany has some kind of confidence in its value as a trade partner with Moscow . . . at almost any price.
In that mix, is another problem: How much Germany knows, that many people fear Germany actually winding up for war - undergoing a sea change that most of us remember, Germany can do and maintain under difficult circumstances.
IMHO, that leaves the other European partners for freedom - allied with Ukraine - who will have to fill in, where German will not participate. Yet, they want the U.S.A. to help them.
IMHO, Joe Biden probably has not balanced a checkbook since high school; but he has certainly written more checks than U.S. taxpayers plus international creditors of the U.S. can support, in a short time since January 2021.
So, I believe that Ukraine only has some probability of suing for peace - in contrast to a lesser possibility of gaining victory. Because, a break that upsets international cash flow, will cause support for Ukraine to collapse.
And then, the Baltic States will find themselves alone - because Ukraine will shrink to about 2/5ths to 1/2 of its current size . . . and some of that will probably be occupied by NATO.
While the muslim brotherhood and other left-wing combustibles incite unrest and excite the liberal media.
Seems to me, that time and ability to incite unrest, is on the side of Moscow, and Moscow is taking advantage of the opportunities.
Your beliefs about Poland are outdated. Poland has a more modern and larger armored force than Germany
