Life has devolved into a Theater of the Absurd. Whatever happened to Arbor Day and plant more trees 🌲 🌳 to reduce Carbon?

Now the only way to reduce carbon is to turn the entire world into the Sahara Desert?

Yeah, what did happen to Arbor Day? It was sort of a thing when I was a kid and is now forgotten.
