The radical left, communists, socialists, and even some anarchists have successfully captured our institutions during my lifetime (born in the late 60’s).
Academia is fully captured and they perfected the plan to public schools everywhere.
Media is fully captured.
Our government bureaucracy is fully captured.
The courts are trending towards full capture but thankfully SCOTUS still stands in the way sometimes. State courts are a real mess in many places.
World government is fully captured.
The Pentagon is captured.
More and more of our faith institutions are captured.
Social media and big tech is fully captured (I am not holding out hope for Twitter - the shadowbans and suppression have started again - would love to be wrong).
Beginning with the Carter administration our banks began to make loans based on metrics other than ability to repay the loan. This really blew up during the Clinton years and continued through the Bush era with widespread support before it caused the 2007/2008 housing crisis.
The “bailouts” of the big banks here (basically the people who promoted this lunacy) and in Europe that followed ignored the root causes (fraud, greed, corruption, and affirmative action lending). The financial markets since have tilted hard left with the final capture of “money” being perfected by Blackrock, Vanguard, and others who are so big they can fundamentally shape our markets now with “ESG” scores.
Our financial institutions are not only captured, they actively promote progressive think with policy that has nothing to do with “banking”. It’s incredibly effective.
They have won.
Sorry to say this and I am not trying to be a gloom and doomer, but show me where I am wrong. We will not “vote” our way out of this and the power of the Presidency is quite diminished as we recently learned because they fight back (and win).
Yes. The only people not captured are the voters and now that our voting machines and ballot counting processes are also CAPTURED, there will be more more fair elections.
Even if enough of us taxpayers WANTED to kick out the treasonous RINO’s or Dems, the books are cooked and the vote is predetermined.

Consider the FFs: Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Morgan, Marion, etc., etc. Now THOSE guys had some stuff to be depressed about. But they never were caught whining like you.
Pick up a history book and see the odds they fought against to found the country.
What do we have to fight against? A military full of gays and trannies, who couldn't win a war against any third world nation in thirty years if you put a gun to their heads.

For every one of your "We are Lost" examples, I have a counterexample that disproves it.
Academia: Homeschool kids are emerging as the new Enlightenment aristocrats. They will lead. They are all conservatives. Small conservative colleges are doing well. Ivy league, Stanford, Berkeley, etc., they have all beclowned themselves and ruined their reputations as places of higher learning. Everyone knows they are indoctrination centers for international communism. And they are all racist, affirmative action hellholes.
Media: Conventional media is old and decaying. Watch The War Room or Newsmax. Our new media is alive and well.
Government, Pentagon, Bureaucrats: Trump is coming upon them like a freight train and they are all peeing their pants, scared to death of his arrival. As they should be.
Faith institutions: Heretics need to form their own covens. Leaving the Remnant.
World Government creeps like Schwab, Soros, Gates: They just had people like Milei come to their Davos party and ruin it. The world is hip to their communist garbage. And it is telling them to stuff it.
Other World leaders: We have either in office or in the wings very conservative leaders emerging in Europe and South America: Millei, Le Pen, Merloni, Villers, Farage, etc.
In our own country we have lots and lots of new conservative candidates and journalists who are going to replace the old guard and put the country on the right track.
Absolutely this is not the time to throw in the towel.
Who would have thought that what was once the counter-cultural radical left would team up with massive multinationals to enforce the same ideology.
