Since a certain subgroup won’t leave and yet do nothing but complain and demand money, I’m afraid we might have to either declare independence or leave. This cannot continue forever.

Or, as some here have said, they dont live in cities, and don’t plan to visit cities. Maybe the answer for many of us, would be living in small towns and rural areas.
Migration of decent people to small town America could be an economic boost to those places, as so many small towns have declined in recent decades.
