“ Today, at my direction,……”

From a guy that does not know which direction to take from the podium.

Does Joe really do anything? He doesn’t even get told that the SecDef is out of commission.

Secretary of Defense does one unconstitutional act by failing to notify his chain of command of his hospitalization, then follows it up with another, by failing to notify Congress he is attacking in a foreign country.

Jefferson took action against the Barbary states/corsairs without Congressional approval. He reported such actions in his annual address and later did get Congressional approval for further action.

So there is something of a precedent.

Good point on the Barbary states precedent. Another, more recent precedent, in the other direction is our inaction in the 1990's to our embassies being attacked -- arguably leading up to the Sep 11 attacks.

That's why I support these strike backs at the people who recently attacked our ships. But that's about as far as I support it. No apologies / tell them we hope they learned their lesson / but no need to go further than this and lead into a new forever war with no real goal.

“Senior Living in the White House, where residents feel like presidents.”

New hysterical Trump video ad.

I guess this is the start of WWIII as more and more nations are pulled into war.

US and UK launch strikes against Yemen; Houthi rebels promise to retaliate Houthis say all US and British interests are now ‘legitimate targets’.

But will ww3 be a winning ticket for fjb?

I think the prcs will go after Taiwan before the elections.

Thus cw2 will also take place when they/them/its try to draft our white children

Want to know how much the meat-puppet FJB is hated in the Mid-east, particularly Saudi Arabia?

The Saudis and Houthis (backed by Iran) have been at war with each other for nearly 20 years.

In March 2023, China brokered a peace-deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

a mere 8 months later, the Houthis are attacking ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, places Saudi Arabia considers “its waters.”

The Saudi Response? Meh. Tells the USA not to do anything rash.

FJB has made the USA the common-enemy now.

Why doesn’t Israel deal with these guys? Why does the USA and UK have to do their dirty work?

Trump should announce that, if the president doesn’t have immunity, he would have Biden prosecuted for not going through Congress.

Free up $26 billion, add in climate juiced fuel prices-

voila-like magic the world goes fr peace and prosperity to destruction and impoverishment-very predictable.

It ends with drill, drill, drill and Iran and Russia being sent back to skid row.

Denying the obvious contrivance is a dim as denying protecting international commerce improves the lives of every man, woman and child on earth particularly Americans.

Agreed. But the difference then, back in Jefferson/Adams days, it was about money for the Pasha and the Corsairs/Pirates.

These days we're dealing with fanatics and 'true believers'. These can be a tougher nut to crack. As in Gaza...they will all need to be "eradicated".

Trump will be older than Biden was if he takes office again.

We need to look for better candidates.
