“Democracy 2024”

See my tagline.

DeSantis is standing in enemy territory—and is so stupid he does not realize it.

DeSantis would be way ahead if people agreed with you. Problem is, they don’t.

This dull man has no chance of winning anything from here on out.

“I’m glad DeSantis is in it for the long haul.”

Bookmark this post folks.

It will be good for a few laughs—perhaps before the Groundhog decides whether or not to pop his head up and look for his shadow.

I’m not sure Trump supporters understand that polling for Iowa/other caucus states are not necessarily all that accurate. People don’t go to a polling place, push a button then rush back home to binge watch TV while scarfing down baby-back ribs & beer in the heated comfort of their home.
Answering a poll question is a whole ‘nother animal from actually caucusing.

"I kind of like having lower expectations, to be honest with you"

Okay then.

My expectations for you are exactly zero.

I feel DeSantis is a superior candidate to the deeply-flawed Trump

To be a "superior candidate," one's candidacy has to be successful somewhere on planet earth.

The media and the GOP establishment has done just about everything they can think of to make this primary competitive, and they’ve only succeeded in propping up two candidates before a single vote has been cast. And once the voters have their say in Iowa and New Hampshire, it will be the end of their campaigns, as well. Sure, the media will pretend that getting 10-15% of the vote is a “victory”, but when Trump gets more than 50%, they will say he’s underperforming.

I started out last year really liking DeSantis and respecting him. I was still going to vote Trump if Trump decided to run. I figured DeSantis would then wait until 2028. I would have then voted for 8 years of DeSantis.

Right now, I’m really disliking DeSantis. He’s in thrall to the GOPe Elite. Just a look at his donors and supporters is enough to show me he’s more like McCain and Romney than Trump.

Bush,Dole,Bush,McCain,Romney,Trump

Your Banana Republican party has been giving the people the finger for awhile..

Trump infiltrated your swamp party and embarrassed your previous Presidential timber, exposing them as swamp first..

Only Dole would have been considered supportive of Trump.

That’s a Republican problem..

That’s why Trump is leading..
Your party and what it has represented has been one big con job with its own voters

Trump is the people’s middle finger back at the likes of Bush,Cheney,McCain,Romney..

Binge-watching, scarfing, beer and baby-back ribs? Did you learn this from Peter Struck/Strozk and what he smelled at Walmart?

That post shows me how you look down on Republican “Deplorables” without saying deplorable. The same words could easily come from the elite never-Trumpers, Hollywood actors and DNCMedia talking heads. Yeah, yeah, we get it. TEA baggers and Magats. We’re all bitter clingers.

“Trumps refusal to participate in the Republican debates gives the middle finger to every Republican voter who would like to see Trump in a traditional forum,”

Every Republican voter who wants to see Trump in a traditional forum isn’t patriotic and isn’t MAGA. Screw those people. He’s far above all the riff-raff and doesn’t need to lower himself.

I am not certain DeSantis supporters are living in reality. I am also not certain you have any clue just who Trump supporters are.

I sat aside my beer ands ribs and got my son Bubba to get off his sister to post this. /s

“Trumps refusal to participate in the Republican debates gives the middle finger to every Republican voter who would like to see Trump in a traditional forum”

These forums are designed to make the Republicans look bad—those who appear in them are fools at best and enemy collaborators at worst.

Voters who share your view do not understand the real world of mass media. It is better to educate them than to give in to their illusions and delusions of mass media “fairness” and “objectivity”.

DeSantis can win over the “conservatives” in Iowa by promising to force the rest of us to drive on more corn syrup.

Not a single one of those staged debates helped any person except Ramaswamy because he became noticed.

You said: “These forums are designed to make the Republicans look bad—those who appear in them are fools at best and enemy collaborators at worst.”

That’s a ridiculous argument. If a candidate is not able to handle hostile or slanted questioning from the media, (or their Republican opponents) then they are not mentally agile enough to make a good President. We know that Trump can handle the media just fine—but his refusal to do so this year shows, in my opinion, an arrogance that is, as I said in my earlier post, “giving the middle finger to the Republican voters”. Or at least he is giving the middle finger to voters like me, and you can be sure I will remember it when the Tennessee Republican Primary rolls around.

Your name calling claiming I have TDS is rather foolish, and I think it likely you are nothing but a paid troll. I’ve supported President Trump in the last 2 elections and it it only in this election for the Republican nomination where I have issues with him as I expressed in my earlier post.

By your logic all candidates should debate in North Korea—to prove they can handle hostile questioning.

When the Democrats have their debates in front of hostile media then we can talk.
