John Kirby: Biden Not Told Sec. Of Defense Austin Has Cancer Until Today

Joe Biden was not informed of the prostate cancer diagnosis of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin until today, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters at Tuesday’s White House press briefing. Kirby said Biden was told of Austin’s illness by White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients in the morning. A press release earlier Tuesday by doctors treating Austin revealed his cancer diagnosis.

Biden spoke by phone with Austin on Saturday, reported Politico’s Alex Ward, “Biden held a “cordial conversation” with Austin on Saturday night, per one of the U.S. officials. “The president has complete trust and confidence in Secretary Austin,” the official said.”

Austin did not tell Biden he was being treated for cancer, even though he was first diagnosed in early December.

“REPORTER: “When did President Biden learn of the Defense Secretary’s cancer diagnosis?” KIRBY: “He was informed today.””

Well, of course BIDEN would not have been told - no one tells him anything and if they do, he does’t remember. You guys really have to stop the “Biden this, Biden that” nonsense, he’s a piñata for you to take swings at but he makes no decisions and really isn’t very important.

The issue is, did Austin not tell the ACTUAL President because there is a shadow SECDEF who runs the Pentagon, so it not only doesn’t matter if Biden is out of the loop (which he obviously is), it also doesn’t matter if the powerless figurehead and errand boy Austin is out of the loop, because someone else is running the show.

Remember how many top Generals and Admirals Obama fired because he "lost confidence" in their leadership over th slightest infractions or perceived mistakes?

Now we have Biden who won't fire anybody who fails over and over in leadership.

I was DX’d with PCs in 2007. The gold-standard then and now is robotic surgery which is almost routine and rarely more than a few hours in the hospital. Then radiation as a salvage process if the PCs has escaped the capsule(gland) and had spread into the margins of surrounding tissue.

Both of these processes rarely cause problems for more than a day or so. A week to ten days and you’re back at it.

So, this tells me that there is something more serious going on that has not been disclosed.
