Former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson has welcomed former CNN anchor Don Lemon to “a new world” of journalism on X, the platform once known as Twitter.
Carlson’s welcome to Lemon comes after the ex-CNN anchor announced Tuesday that he is launching The Don Lemon Show through his own media company and that it will be available on X. Lemon’s announcement comes after Carlson launched his own show on X, of which he has released over 60 episodes since mid-2023.
“Congratulations,” Carlson wrote in sharing Lemon’s post. “It’s a new world. Welcome.”
The welcoming statement from Carlson comes after both he and Lemon were fired from their respective networks on the same day, April 24, 2023.

Tucker was a collaborator in The Steal and was rewarded with a new contract by the Murdochs in early 2021, right after Biden was inaugurated. Tucker didn’t saw anything publicly in defense of President Trump until after The Steal was complete. In fact the only reason he started to send the emails that were used as evidence by Dominion was that Fox he lost half his audience in 2 months and started panicking about Newsmax. Things changed after his Dominion deposition.

Because X is a free speech forum, anyone can have a show there, whether they can get viewers is up to them.

Fox had to payoff Dominion because Tucker WAS a collaborator. And Tucker put all of his Trump bashing and contract and ratings worries in writing that was used as evidence. If Tucker had stayed quiet, he wouldn’t have been deposed by Dominion.
