I live in Memphis. When a mature woman of color finds themselves in a position of authority and power, every nephew, niece, boyfriend, spouse, family members, and close friends become direct reporting employees. The wigs, nails, eyelashes, wardrobe, luxury vehicles leases, are all part of the drill. Many people of color where I worked before retiring just hated working for a woman of color. Everything is 99.99% emotional. Nothing is results measured besides "my people" will get on it until the money or assets go missing, vendors don't get paid, and the line outside the HR Managers office is 100' long.

Only one exception in 45 years of experience.

isn’t that ridiculous?? and we’re not allowed to say a word because they’ll label us racist. I refuse to allow ANY of them to define me outside of the truth and we should call out behavior like this for what it is. Wicked to the core.

No corrupt white politician comes close to the corruption of a black politician and it is rare that the black ones are held to account. They figure that they can gat away with anything because they often do.
