I’m talking about reading with a critical eye.
And knowing the background of a writer is part of developing that critical eye.
It doesn’t mean what a writer composes is immediately discounted.
It does mean that knowing a writer’s potential bias is a consideration.
You’ve questioned his credibility here, so I am asking what you are basing that on.
Interesting. Looks like he indeed may be not a right-wing, but a leftist professor who used the “house negro” slur against a professor who didn’t endorse a report on “systemic racism” on campus in the way he wanted.
So he lost his position and had a sizable settlement declared against him. Curious now that he’s started on the “medical dissident” international conference circuit with the likes of Robert Malone. Also, as JJ Couey pointed out, Rancourt has gone after RFKJ online while not even nicely pointing out to the Malone types when they site his 17M but ignore his evidence that there was never a deadly, spreading, novel virus at all.
Interesting.
