For the record, Bret and Heather stepped down because of academic politics over free speech and inquiry. I don’t think they viewed it from a political perspective and am quite sure they still support most ideas of the “left”.

It is an interesting trend in academia, and important, but it does not make them “conservative” or “MAGA”. Neither of them are very fond of Trump or his policies and I listen to them a few times a week via podcasts while driving.

As you know, what's happening on university campuses is still political. In fact, that's where the Marxist indoctrination of voters began.

I agree that Bret and Eric are not conservative. I would think though that they are classical liberals (pro-free speech, pro-free markets, pro-individual freedom, pro-academic freedom, etc.) as opposed to Marxists who have taken over the term "liberal" and redefined it.
