Another Great Awakening to our Judeo-Christian heritage and an improvement in the moral character of the King of America (that is, you and me ;-) ) would be my first choice. Because our diminished moral character, preceeded by our transition away from GOD, is what led to (as you point out) “the death spiral we’ve allowed ourselves to be placed in”.
Barring that Awakening, you are right, it’s either CWII or succumb to the tyranny of the globalist left.
