Receipts are checked only for items not bagged, ie, cases of water under the cart which may have been forgotten, a big screen tv which someone is trying to steal, etc.
I understand the motive but I will still refuse their (only at Walmart) illegal detainment/search. Of course, anyone can voluntarily submit to a search.
That is a huge problem people (like HRC) claiming they do not recall.
