The Shoreline FM is in my neighborhood, too. I seldom go there but order Instacart food from them.
I think part of the decline in that store is due to the nearby Section 8 housing. If I actually go to the grocery store I go to the QFC down the hill. Small and well-run but they locked up the hard liquor near the cashiers a few years ago.
The FM also locked up its liquor a few years ago and put all alcohol in a gated section with its own cashier.
