I suppose the first response to the headline; “Why?”, is
‘because they can’. But I’m not quite sure what the motivation would be. Some kind of expansive plan. Something that will remain unexplained until it has been loosed upon the people. If Nancy Pelosi is involved, it can’t be good.

How big is the office? Could it be someone is getting ready to retire, then “accepts” the transfer, and lets FedGov pay moving expenses?
