A short perusal into Bible expositors reveals that that Scripture refers to marriage and the purpose of marriage, which was procreation. It is unfortunate that some Christians have gone astray and misinterpreted that Scripture to mean angels. Most Bible expositors believe it to mean Sethites, descendants of Seth.
yes
doesn't mean it requires childbirth
they are separate things
as far as bible literacy , it is a shame some cant show them selves approved
though accreditation doesn't equal competency either
i am ordained
i do have 3 certificates of theology from internationally accredited sources.
so you can shove that ignorance insinuation right back up your preterist lie hole buddy.
as far as the sethite doctrine , Enoch was descended from Cain, and the scripture not only calls him a friend of God....
God raptured him /-)
so the whole “ righteous” line verses “ unrighteous” line crap for exegesis fails all basic hermeneutical principles.
i never went into the ministry , even though i was offered a church, cuz I've been divorced , twice , and feel the scripture tells me that disqualifies me.
and i struggle with not pulling disgusting demonic tares....
and fighting the dissemination of deceiving doctrines of demons,,, rabid antisemitic preterism for example
/-)
so... do you also declare that abels mark was a black skin ?
please say no.
“Most Bible expositors believe it to mean Sethites, descendants of Seth.”
Most? Well maybe in the last few hundred years or so, especially those of a more Calvinist persuasion may have taught such, but Ancient Hebrew and early Judaism teachings supported the “demonic view” and so did the Early Church. Some say the Demons may have possessed wicked men who then mated with women that way which is plausible assuming one wants to accept that a mating by “proxy as it were” would likely cause the effects on the human genome we’ve read about in Genesis.(as opposed to the “up close and personal” approach. Various Greek myths speak of human women mating with Gods which indirectly may be echos of genesis 6)
