Well, to an extent opponents of the wall were right - over such a large distance it is mostly empty symbolism. What works is active defense - a surrender or die order followed immediately by either death or deportation. But those things require a lot more political will than a construction project.

Look at a place like Singapore as an example. An extremely wealthy country surrounded by nations where many live in dire poverty, it would seem to be a natural magnet for flotillas of economic refugee boats like southern Europe is enduring - but that never happens. Why?

Because the Singapore government has exactly zero qualms about shooting such invaders in the head. Nor about locking up any internal seditionists who try to make a case for what Singapore supposedly "owes" to such opportunists.

A Trump DOJ could enhance border security massively on Day One by issuing Federal indictments against the leaderships of Catholic Charities and other seditious NGO's who are facilitating the invasion.

The Wall is much less important than the Will.

The wall is fine. It is intended to be monitored 24/7 by electronic detection devices and surveillance. But of course Biden is not enforcing the border in any way shape or form, so they had all the time they needed to cut that bollard unhindered. If the system was up and running that would never have succeeded.

I concur. I have postulated many times that the only sure way to stop illegal border crossings is to make the trip a fatal endeavor. On the surface it sounds cruel but in reality it would take only a few examples of unsuccessful attempts and the traffic would drop to almost nothing.

LOL, How are you going to convict them when its the federal government paying them to do it. It a sound defense.

It's the people in the government who are the masterminds of these criminal acts.
