They think they are indispensable. News flash, they are not.

That job is #10 wire, some conduit, a box and two breakers. Even I can do that by myself in an afternoon if the hole is dug.

I do all my wiring. It is all up to code and I'm willing to have it inspected but don't have to. I can read the code just as well as the next man.

I also go them one better, I never put in less than 20 amp circuits.

Wiring is a pita but it is an activity that comes closer to my pay grade in savings to do. I spent half the day yesterday putting in an outside light on the end of the house. It would have cost me well over a grand to have it done and a lot of bs.

I wired my solarium with 2 plug ins, and an overhead light. I used parallel circuits and so far nothing has blown up🤣. Had the county inspector look at it.
No they are definitely not as valuable as they think they are. Problem is many people do think they are invaluable or I’m guessing they wouldn’t ask such Highway robbery prices.
