I tend to agree with you. The blocking of Gateway Pundit could be matter of policy that affects all political websites.
I am not a fan of Gateway Pundit, some of their stuff seems a little overdone in the truth department.
If Gateway is the only one blocked, then they have a complaint. If they are one of many then they are at it again, selling clickbait.

A congressman in their office should be able to access the internet without limits. No sites political or otherwise should be blocked, ever.
