Eggs are back up in cost and I can’t believe how extortionate laundry detergent has become.

Joe and his cronies can say whatever they want, real Americans know exactly how bad things are. I’d bet even the folks who voted for Joe aren’t happy about the continued high inflation. Bidenomics sucks.

My homeowners insurance went up from $2400 per year to $4500 in January with no warning. Caused my mortgage to go up $300 a month.

I don’t know what people are complaining about? If you don’t buy fuel, food or have to pay rent the economy is just fine.

I used to get cases of Yuengling at my Publix on sale for $19.99/case before the 2020 election was stolen. Now it’s rarely on sale, and sells for $26.95.

But according to some people on this sub, noticing that this is a problem is Marxist.

Sticker shock $18 big Mac meal. $60 fillups at has station for vehicles with small gas tanks. And many many more examples-

When president Trump was in office, I was once again able to fill up for about $25- now paying near $60 when car gets real low on gas. All in 4 short years too- heck, it happened in 1 year I beleive after obiden took office

Everything has gone up so much the last 3 years. Any grocery item now costs more...way more than it did 3 yrs ago. Throw away cups I used to pay $1.99 for are now right at $5. Laundry detergent, fabric softener & bleach ....I hate when I run low on any of it due to the current prices. Store brand bleach used to be $1.99 a gallon. Now it is just under $5 and the size has shrunk. The one thing that just blows my mind is the price of deodorant! I used to buy a can of spray deodorant for anywhere from $1.49 to $2.29 a can. Now to buy an aerosol can of deodorant the price is currently $8.57! It leaves me shaking my head in disbelief these are the prices now. Our Country is in deep trouble and I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel.

The people who claim that the cost of living has not gone up much are absolutely wrong.

They pick items to determine that increase that is not what ordinary people tend to need to buy. It’s easy to manipulate statistics by picking and choosing what you are using to make them.

Want to have fun.

Go look at the MSRP of the base mode 2022 Transit Connect and the 2023 base model Transit Connect. (which was the last year it was made.)

2022 MSRP of Base model 30,760
2023 MSRP of Base Model 35,485

1 model year, no major changes, last year it was being produced... a 15% price increase on a vehicle you did nothing of any consequence to between model years and is they last year its being built.

Keep on lying about having Bidenflation “under control”...

You aint seen nothing yet—wait for your $100 Burger at McDonalds, %200 a gallon gas, and six million dollar homes. Coming the Two hundred dollar bill and the Thousand dollar bill. They will be as common as a twenty is today. It has happened in many lands in the past, and will happen here. Wait for the “New Dollars” coming—big red, white and blue money with Liberal Leaders faces on them. FDR on the fifty, Bill Clinton on the 100, Jimmy Carter on the 200.

Part of my “prepping” over the years was buying crazy stockpiles of non-perishable goods.

My main concern was the long supply chains that could be disrupted at any time—but it turned out that inflation has been a bigger issue.

My purchases of such items are rare but as you say it is sticker shock for sure.

The DC gaslighters hope we are stupid.

Yes, I have stocked up also, but apparently didn’t factor in what the prices would go up to on some of our daily purchases. Had I known....I would have had a closet full of deodorant, cups, laundry items, etc. Toilet paper, light bulbs, paper towels...I have a ton of those items along with canned grocery goods. It really is insane how much some daily use items have gone up! Thanks O’Biden, democrats & RINO’s. They all make me very angry these days.

Needed to get a regular sized bottle of nyquil today at Walmart, $12. Last time I had to buy that a couple years ago I think maybe $7.

You got that right! It’s crazy how the media and administration are trying to say things are not as bad as they were. No, they are worse! Hate going to a store anymore. It just makes me so angry when I get to the check out. We go to WalMart for a lot of things since they are cheaper than any other places here [other than the dollar stores on some items]. What used to cost me less than $200 for a big supply of items we need/use every day is now pushing the $400 mark! I really feel sorry for people with young kids. I don’t know how they are doing it? And us, being on a fixed income, I am really watching my pennies these days. Makes me fear the day I can not afford to buy what we need at the rate things are going.

Price gouging was allowed during covid and laid off to "supply chain disruptions". It is for everything, including essentials. People somehow sense that if they get a raise it will just cause more price hikes and the result them will be a loss.

The greed of inflation is like a snowball running down hil just getting bigger and faster until something else happens.

In retirement I make twice as much as my parents did and can't afford a new car, they bought a new one about every third year.
