Um, this is the Rio Grande, not the Mississippi River.
The ONLY navigation crossing the Rio Grande is transversely, from South to North. And, it is illegal.
Abbott was just on Maria’s show and said that same thing. The Rio Grand is not navigatable, thousands walk across daily. Says he will take to Supreme Court. He said between the buoys, the wall and the wire with National Guard behind it the cartels have rerouted to Arizona, which is having record illegal crossing.
