I didn’t know front-loading machines went out of balance.
Squeeeee! Those look like baby meezers.
I’m so glad Chip is making appearances and checking out his new digs. Also glad the ArGee in-law visit is going OK.
Zzeeman, are you in the path of totality for the eclipse next month? It’s fixin’ to get nuts ‘round here soon!
Yes, we are just on the line that says there will be 2 minutes of totality... Making sure that we have no need to travel off these ranch roads until days after it occurs... plan to not have to go to Waco or anywhere else from about a week before... been noticing that all of the highway RV parks near Waco look like they are already filled to capacity... I suspect that it is going to be a wild few days!
Yeah, I’ll have to increase the gooshy fud and just give him a few kernels of the dry, poor ol’ Toothless Joe!
I’ll have to go make the bed in a while, but I really want to take a nap. Unngh. This has not started out to be a good day. Maybe tomorrow will prove to be better and I’ll be able to report another sighting of the Invisible Chip.
This one does, and when it does it leaves the clothes wet enough to drip all over the floor.
I wonder if its motor has just become too weak.
I don’t know but I hate using it. I’ll talk to Chuck about it today. I really don’t think it should be doing that on a load that big.
Just got back from Lin’s where I got a bag of litter (cheaper than a plastic container) and a small bag of cheese curds!
I’ll see how Chip reacts to the new litter, if he ever leaves the living room.
Chip would probably like those cheese curds.
Uh...no. I’ve spent enough on that Invisible Picky Kitty. I’m not sharing my curds!
From poor little waif to Invisible Picky Kitty in only 18 posts?
I’ll blame your laundry experience. I’m sure Chip is really still a poor little waif.
He is both — but before that, he was “Hugo!”
Hugo, but not Hugh!
You could try putting his box in the living room. It might encourage him to go.
Hugo is Hugh in Spanish, unless you’re talking size....
Thought of that. Thanks!
It was the last resort. It will have to be moved once he’s learned what it’s for because my living room is too small for the litter box to be there all the time. Unless I trade the sofa for a smaller one.... Which I’ve been considering, anyway.
Once he’s using it, he’ll find it if you move it. Cats figure things out.
I put about a cupful of “regular” litter in the box, then I stirred it, but I’m thinking now that I should have left it. I’ll put another cupful in it before I head for bed and just leave it.
If I could make eye contact with him, I could give him that slow blink, but either he’s asleep or I have sunglasses on. I’m sure that would help him adjust, but I have to see his eyes, first.
So, since I’m feeling beaten up and tossed out, I’ll go add some litter, then get ready for bed. I’ll see you tomorrow, hopefully early enough to do something productive.
And. As a side note, I put a message on the Ward Group on Facebook about needing someone to help me by taking the carrier back to Kanab, if they were going that way within the next month. One of the gals in the choir said she and her hubby may be going, and they would be glad to take it. I can just stick an envelope to it with where it needs to go and the main office can see that it gets there.
So I’m off to bed, now, and hope I see some good signs of more adjustments by the time I wake up. I’d like to say this is my first cat and I need all the help I can get, but it’s not. And I still do! <3
Have a good night and I’ll see you tomorrow!
I hope you have a good night. It’s kind that someone will be able to take the carrier back to Kanab.
Been booming good weather these last few days.
Sunny. Clear. Hoping it holds on through Easter.
I had a less reasonable outing into the Wordlesphere today...
