Seth’s whole family was bought-off way early in the original investigation. This will go nowhere. He’s still dead, murdered by his own.
So, a personal friend lost his father in a single-car accident late one night a few years back. Left behind a widow and a few children. The father was working for a federal agency at the time. After the dust settled, an uncle started looking into the accident report and found things weren’t quite adding up in his mind. He went to the site of the accident, he contacted the local police to ask questions and anybody else he could find who might have some answers that made sense.
A short time later, the wife gets a visit from one of her husband’s former coworkers to see how she is holding up. He then tells her that he has been told she needs to put a stop to any personal investigations into the accident or risk losing the very generous death benefits she is receiving.
Case closed. It happens.
