For several years, I recall getting a stack of ads delivered with the newspaper. And even after I dropped the paper, the ads alone were delivered about about a week before Black Friday. But now, all I get are emails with "early" Black Friday sales. It seems that retailers have been so eager to get an early online sale that they eliminated the need to actually go to a store.
I wonder how much impulse buying has been lost due to the lack of foot traffic.
‘xactly. My wife and daughter would team up with her sister and neices to engage in one of their favorite sports, black Friday bargain hunting. Dunno, that didn’t happen this year.
