Please note “explain” was in quotes so it was used in general sense. Also, I said the “explanation” was subject to improvement or revision. Also, the force carrier for magnetic fields and electric fields are supposedly photons or so Quantum Field Theory tells us. So far it seems to work.

How do photons carry the force?
Why don’t the planets escape their orbits due to being bombarded continually with photons ?
Magnetism can pull or push. How can it push when it doesn’t produce any photons ?
P.S. I’m not trying to disprove the information you gave, I’m trying to get us all to think and see if we can get better answers to what are just a couple of the wonderful mysteries that confront us.
