Terrorists murder Israelis
Terrorist supporters blame Israel
Makes perfect sense. NOT.
Why am I picturing a long line of people with yellow stars on their coats queuing quietly to board cattle cars? Will they never learn?
Don’t poke a hornets nest and you won’t get clobbered.
They’re trying to free all the hostages. I get that. But the war should end with an unconditional surrender by Hamas.
More likely Israel will not be able to destroy Hamas. Even if they end up occupying all of Gaza. To destroy Hamas, Israel will have to fight the civilians. But they'll stop soon.
Pipes was a Bushbaby, back when. Sounds like he still is.
[snip] Symptoms of that sad reversion include the following:
The security establishment approved the entry of 8,000 West Bank workers to Israel, mostly to engage in agricultural work. It did so in response to Israel's agriculture minister assuring his colleagues that the workers had been vetted and posed no danger. That thousands of workers from Gaza had spied on Israel and made themselves complicit in the Oct. 7 massacre seemed blithely to be forgotten.
On the West Bank itself, Israel's commanding general there issued oxymoronic orders limiting Arab access that appeared tough but changed very little. As explained by the Binyamin Regional Council, "There is no entry into Israeli towns for Arab workers. They will be permitted to enter industrial areas at night only." Do marauders and murderers carry out their crimes only in daylight?
The Palestinian Authority that nominally governs part of the West Bank not only offered full-throated support for the Hamas massacre but boasted of having a role in it. [/snip]
The war will only end when Hamas and ALL other terrorists and their nations cease to exist. They must be exterminated from the earth.
Wars end when one side wins and another side loses.
Israel’s war with the Palestinians has been going on for 75 years, and despite outstanding tactical performances, the war is not won.
Winning is not going to come about through “the international community”, by “UN resolutions”, by “the West” (a/k/a the US military), or by the “peace process”.
All of those things are copes, or excuses. So is “the US will not let Israel win”. Victory is in the hands of the victors. If victory in America’s hands, to deal out or to withhold, then it’s not Israel’s war, it’s our war - which is is not.
Our war is right here at home. We are being invaded and dealing with that has to be our #1 priority.
If Israel cannot win its war in 75 years, it becomes necessary to consider, in the long run, if victory is possible. Tactically Israel remains superb. But, as I have posted before, their strategic situation continues to deteriorate.
IF you want the war to end with unconditional surrender, if (in effect) you want the envoys of the Emperor to dress up in Western formal wear and bow and scrape before MacArthur and Nimitz on the foredeck of the USS Missouri, then you have to do to the Arab nations and Iran what we did to Japan.
Is that going to happen? Who knows. But that’s the only issue that is undecided in this very long war.
Not really..
In 2003, President George W. Bush nominated Pipes for the board of the United States Institute of Peace. A filibuster was launched by Democratic Senators in the United States Senate against Pipes' nomination.[12] Senator Tom Harkin said that he was "offended" by Pipes' comments on Islam, and that while "some people call [Pipes] a scholar... this is not the kind of person you want on the USIP."[13] While defending Pipes' nomination, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer distanced Bush from Pipes's views, saying that Bush "disagrees with Pipes about whether Islam is a peaceful religion".[14] Pipes obtained the position by recess appointment[7] and served on the board until early 2005. His nomination was protested by Muslim groups in the U.S., and Democratic leaders.[15][16][17] The Los Angeles Times wrote that "in trying to prevent Middle East scholar Daniel Pipes from joining the board of the U.S. Institute of Peace, Sens. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.), Christopher J. Dodd (D-Conn.) and Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) are abusing their privilege."[12]
Regardless of who Pipes is or was, he is 100% correct. Liberalism is a mental disorder. this retarded cease fire is the end of the war. Hamas wins again and the sheeple of Israel will just go back to normal. Bibi will get the blame and lose the presidency for good for letting it happen when his arch political rival running the defense and undermining the war will take back his seat from Bibi and continue to manage Israel’s decline. If Israel was in Europe in 1943 they would do the same thing and try to coddle the Nazis no matter how bad things got.
I can't see any Muslim radical surrendering when such a huge martyrdom opportunity is right in front of them. They would rather gain the glory of forcing Israel to kill them to the last man - for the public opinion loser would be Israel.
In the WORLD of Islam a relatively small number of mujahideen warriors can defeat a nation with the help of irrational thinking infidels of that nation.
You can’t fix stupid - except by replacing the stupid people who make the decisions. EVERY country in the West, Israel and the US included, needs to do this ASAP.
I’d forgotten most of that. Thanks for the reminder. I remember him on radio and TV. I retract my slur.)
Never again means “when the next time ?”
I must agree with your description of how the war will play out. Israel alone against a World taken by madness.
Israel can’t “win” because it can’t even operate as a viable sovereign nation. They do what the U.S. tells them to do because Israel is basically our welfare state.
