Those of us who grew up in the 1950s and early 1960s remember the news programs about WWII, the capture Adolf Eichmann(1960) and the bulldozing of thousands of dead fly covered bodies into mass graves should be able to take it. As a kid it was our first shock of the REAL WORLD out there.
For some reason the news media, beginning in the late 1960s began to block such views from TV as “anti-violence” programs began after the murder of Presidential hopeful Bobby Kennedy by a Palestinian Immigrant. The world has never been the same since.
