In the early 1990’s just after Bill Clinton was elected, I read an article in The Economist that was an example of journalistic fellatio that would have made the then unknown Monica Lewinsky blush, and realized then that The Economist was just a joke and a leftwing socialist rag simply posing as a serious periodical.
Yeah, I canceled my Economist subscription when they endorsed John Kerry.
