Story I liked about him.
While living in the woodsy area of Woodstock he was in his car speeding a little and a cop pulled him over. Robertson was slender, had his black suit and black hat on, and wire rimmed glasses and had a scruffy beard.
The cop looked him over, smiled and said “Rabbi, I’m not going to give you a ticket but please watch your speed.”
Ha! And there’s no compelling reason to correct the cop!
