I didn’t see any mention of the hostages. They are supposedly being held IN those tunnels. How is Israel going to survive the political and public opinion backlash if they end up killing the hostages in the process?
There will be no "backlash". Most of the hostages taken in the raids were killed within the next two days. Rescue was never a factor in the IDF war planning. At most it was an unexpected bonus in a few isolated cases.
If there are still any living hostages in the tunnels, they will die with their HAMAS captors. Nobody is going down into the "metro" again.
The hostages are probably dead and Israel should not worry about these idiots that support terror.
