Marriage favors the woman. A woman can marry a man, then divorce him in few years and take 1/2 of what he has. Its worse when children are in the equation.
No fault divorces have done their wicked work.
We should change the law. Maybe we shouldn't punish the man anymore. It might be time to bring back generous subsidies from the taxpayers. But the catch is this. Once a woman has her third child, she must tie her tubes if she wants to continue to receive benefits.
