I know M*A*S*H is not the most favourite TV series among some here, but this scene in "The General Flipped At Dawn" well captures the true nature of these sorts of people.

The first three or four seasons of M*A*S*H under Larry Gelbart’s helm are some of the funniest, best-written episodes of any TV series ever.
