An interesting point is made in the letter, which I have just finished reading. It is the last line of the letter, which says:

"Transparency brings accountability."

Why is that included?

He is telling the recipients (Wray and Garland), that if you respond to the 15 points of information and questions in an honest and forthright manner that we will get you.

He has just given them every reason to not be honest and transparent in their response.

I read the letter as simply a continuation of the show, an action with no teeth in it.

"The show".

I hope you don't mind if I capitalize the words and use this myself.

The letter is ostensibly written to Garland and Wray, but I believe Grassley intended it for a much wider audience - We the People - especially the sign-off; “Transparency brings Accountability”.

This is a letter to the American people, and if the Trump family was at the center of it instead of the Biden family, such a letter would set off a megaton scandal the likes of Watergate times 1,000,000.

Instead, we will hear crickets in the MSM, so it behooves us all to make sure it doesn’t get buried.
