The large Imam Reza Mosque is still standing....
but there was a huge hole for a long time where the two towers of the World Trade Center and nearby buildings used to be. People died in Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon. Thousands of noncombatants died and more died of cancer and other diseases from the chemicals and particulates from the destruction of 9/11.

When the Iranians broke international law and entered the American Embassy in Iran they took innocent people hostage for 444 days.
The Iranians made a show of being on camera as they took out the garbage wrapped in American flags.
More than 577,000 individuals who were either born in Iran or reported Iranian ancestry, according to tabulations from the U.S. Census Bureau 2019 ACS. Jul 15, 2021 (I cannot find current data).
Those Iranians are in the United States now.
Most Iranian-Americans in the United States are clustered in the large cities of California, namely Greater Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Sacramento, and Fresno.

Or not. The war ends when Hamas release all the hostages. Bibi would declare victory after destroying the infrastructure in Gaza through airstrikes and securing the release of all hostages. Then his government falls apart due to accepting the blame for security mishaps on 10/7.
